How long does carpet take to dry after cleaning?
The time it takes your carpets to dry will depend on the method our team uses. For hot water extraction, we tell clients to expect dry carpets between 4 and 6 hours. When outside temperature are warm, it’s much faster than that. If our team uses low-moisture encapsulation, the dry time is less than an hour. Regardless of the method used, it’s safe to walk on carpet immediately after the cleaning process is complete.
Is carpet cleaning safe for kids and pets?
Yes. Our cleaning solutions are safe for children and pets. We’re happy to discuss specific product ingredients if anyone in your household has allergies or sensitivities. We can have kids and pets back on the carpet as soon as the cleaning process is complete, even if carpets might be slightly damp.
Can you remove pet urine odor from carpet?
Yes. We use enzyme-based treatments that break down the source of pet urine odor — not just mask it. For deep sub-floor contamination, we’ll walk you through your options during the free walkthrough before any work begins.
How often should I have my carpets professionally cleaned?
We recommend that you have your carpets professionally cleaned at least twice a year. Homes with children, pets, or heavier traffic might require more cleanings. For newer carpet, some manufacturers even require professional carpet cleaning for the warranty to stay valid.
Do I need to move furniture before you arrive?
It truly depends on the scope of work. Often times, the heavier furniture like beds, dressers, and couches can stay in place and we can work around them. If you do require them to be moved, a content manipulation fee may be applied. We just ask that you clear small items, breakables, and personal belongings beforehand so we can work efficiently.
What carpet cleaning method do you use?
For carpet, we use both hot water extraction (also called steam cleaning) and low-moisture encapsulation. Both methods are highly effective and our team will recommend the best option based on your needs and the condition of the floors. Each method removes dirt, allergens, bacteria, and stains without leaving residue that attracts more dirt.
